Frequently asked questions

What experience do you have inside BPO and document-processing contracts?

Jamie worked directly for four outsourcing suppliers on the same inbound-processing contract: Communisis, Tech Mahindra, Paragon Customer Communications and SPS. That meant multi-client production environments, SLA-driven delivery and production support with root-cause investigation, covering OpenText Captiva workflows, scanner configuration on ImageTrac and Kodak platforms, custom import services, SQL-driven routing and C#/.NET backend integration work.

Can you help when an outsourcing contract changes supplier?

Yes. Jamie has been on the receiving end of supplier transitions four times, doing the actual handover work rather than managing it from a distance. The priorities each time were correct access and groups in place from day one, documentation that reflected reality rather than tribal knowledge, and enough visibility that the client noticed nothing had changed.

Do you support scanner and capture platform problems?

Yes. The experience covers investigation, reconfiguration and troubleshooting of capture and scanning environments, including making them more resilient to modern inputs, along with migration and upgrade work on Captiva-style workflow engines such as a Captiva 7 to 7.5 migration. Backend integrations using SQL Server, REST APIs and Microsoft Graph that feed inbound-processing pipelines are also in scope.

Do you get involved in the commercial side of outsourcing contracts?

No. The experience is operational and technical, not commercial. Jamie has worked inside outsourcing delivery but has not negotiated outsourcing contracts, and fits around your account management and commercial functions rather than replacing them. The role is the systems and production processes underneath the contract. Delivery is 100% remote, and a free 20-minute consultation is available to start.
