Frequently asked questions

What document-processing platforms have you worked with?

Jamie's experience includes OpenText Captiva workflow development and support, document-capture environments, ingestion workflows across Outlook MSG, PDF and image routes, custom import and conversion services, manifest generation, SQL-driven routing configuration, and scanner configuration and troubleshooting on ImageTrac and Kodak platforms, all in high-volume production environments where consistency and supportability matter.

Can you help us understand a document workflow nobody fully understands any more?

Yes. Typical engagements start with workflow and routing analysis to build a clearer picture of how documents are captured, classified, routed and processed, and which downstream systems depend on that handling. The aim is to improve understanding of the operational environment around the technology, with documentation and knowledge transfer so your support team can see what the workflow is actually doing.

Do you provide production support for document-processing systems?

Yes. Production support, user acceptance testing, go-live support and troubleshooting are all part of the experience, including investigating production issues affecting document processing and scanner or capture environments. Work is delivered 100% remotely by Jamie Page. Time-based support is charged at £80 to £100 per hour or £400 to £500 per day ex VAT.

How do I start a conversation about our ECM environment?

Book a free 20-minute consultation to talk through the workflow, ingestion process or capture environment that is causing concern. If the problem is a defined piece of work, you receive a fixed-price quote agreed in writing after a scoping step, with a 30-day defect warranty on fixed-price delivery. Ongoing support or investigation can be charged at the published day or hourly rates instead.
