What I deliver

Stabilise fragile workflows before they disrupt operations

Choose by problem fit:

I look at the operational impact first — what's actually breaking down, and for whom — before I look at the technology. Direct delivery, one accountable contact from initial discussion through sign-off, backed by 15+ years of production experience.

You work directly with me from scope to sign-off. Scope agreed in writing before work starts, with a 30-day defect warranty on every project.

Most engagements begin with a targeted review, then move to scoped fixes or delivery sprints only where needed.

Service catalogue

Service catalogue

Most engagements combine several services. Clear requirements at the start lead to better outcomes and fewer surprises.

The same work, described from other angles: Operational Systems, Workflow Engineering, Systems Integration, Production Reliability, Maintainability, Knowledge Transfer, Document Processing & ECM, and remote contract, consultancy, freelance, subcontract and overflow delivery.

Typical delivery pathway

Select a phase to see how risk is reduced before anything bigger starts.

Diagnose risk

Map brittle workflows, hidden dependencies, and failure points before coding starts.

This diagram summarises the typical engagement pattern. The exact sequence can vary by system risk and urgency.
  • When a backend system needs building or replacing, the risk usually isn't the first release — it's what happens a year later when nobody who wrote it is still around. Outcome: a C#/.NET application or API your team actually understands, with proper testing, structured logging, and code that's ready for someone else to change.

    Typical: 5–20 days · Fixed-price quote

    • Maintainable architecture and coding standards
    • ASP.NET Core APIs and service development
    • Integrations and data access (SQL, file-based, third-party APIs)
    • Entity Framework (EF Core) where appropriate
    • WPF desktop applications where appropriate
    • Microsoft Graph API integration where required
    • Background processing (scheduled jobs, workers) where appropriate
    • Observability basics (structured logging you can actually search, errors that say what to do)
    • Automated tests where appropriate
    • Documentation and handover notes

Typical deliverables include API endpoints and data contracts, services/workers, integration adapters, and handover documentation covering deployment and support.

Boundaries

What I do and what I deliberately avoid

This is a consulting business focused on reliable delivery and low operational risk. I do not sell packaged SaaS products, growth-hack retainers, or high-volume agency production.

  • I do: scoped consulting delivery with written outcomes, documentation, and handover.
  • I do: practical risk reduction for live systems where reliability matters.
  • I do: work within your Azure or GitHub environment — troubleshooting, CI/CD pipelines, and advisory — fitting your access model and governance requirements.
  • I do: authenticate via Microsoft Entra ID, GitHub, or Google Workspace, and operate within virtual desktop or federated Teams environments where required.
  • I avoid: speculative product roadmaps presented as committed delivery.
  • I avoid: unclear ownership models where accountability is diluted.

Deliverables

What you get every time

Clear deliverables that reduce risk and make handover straightforward.

  • Written findings and recommended next steps (review work)
  • Architecture notes/diagram where helpful
  • Implementation plan with milestones and risks
  • Documentation and handover notes for operations

Engagement

How engagements work

Engagements range from a single-day review to multi-week delivery — depending on scope and complexity. The more complete your requirements, the stronger the solution.

Project-based or retained engagement. Written scope agreed before work starts, accountability at every stage, and a 30-day defect warranty included.

1. Discovery

Understand your goals, constraints, and data landscape. Produce a scoped plan with realistic estimates, early quick wins, and a high-level design (chargeable) — so you're confident before a single line of code is written. Clear, complete requirements at this stage lead to better outcomes and fewer surprises later.

2. Agreement

Review the proposal together, agree scope, deliverables, and fee structure in writing — then sign off to proceed.

3. Build & Iterate

Deliver in small, testable slices with regular checkpoints — so you can steer the work as it progresses.

4. Solution Sign-Off

Walk through the completed solution together, confirm it meets the agreed requirements, and formally sign off before handover.

5. Handover & Support

Final deliverables are released once payment has cleared. Low-level design, documentation, and knowledge transfer — everything you need to own and operate the solution. The 30-day warranty period starts from sign-off.

Engagement Models

  • Outcome-focused delivery — agreed priorities and checkpoints (scope can evolve)
  • Time & materials — flexible scope with a clear cadence
  • Review — written observations and suggested improvements

30-day warranty: the warranty period starts from solution sign-off. Defect fixes identified within that period are covered. Fixes may be subject to additional cost where the issue is caused by a change in requirements, third-party dependencies, environment changes, or work outside the agreed scope.

Final deliverables are released only once the corresponding payment has cleared.

Rates and timelines are provided after a short discovery call. Engagements can typically begin within one to two weeks of agreement.

Fixed-scope offers

Productised advisory offers

For a narrower question than a full engagement, these four are scoped as a fixed piece of work with a defined deliverable — useful as a starting point before committing to something larger.

  • Backend/API Audit — a focused review of an existing C#/.NET backend or API: architecture, reliability risks, and maintainability, with written findings and prioritised recommendations. Price on enquiry
  • Integration Review — an assessment of how your systems and third-party integrations fit together, where the fragile points are, and what would break first under change. Price on enquiry
  • Legacy Health Check — a structured look at an ageing system's production reliability, supportability, and key-person risk, with a clear picture of what needs attention first. Price on enquiry
  • Operational Systems Review — an evaluation of a workflow, planning, or internal tooling system against how the operational team actually uses it, surfacing where process and system have drifted apart. Price on enquiry

Fit

Is PageTech Solutions a good fit for you?

Likely a good fit

  • Operationally important systems that have become difficult to understand or maintain
  • C#/.NET, Azure, Microsoft Graph or SQL Server environments
  • Workflow or integration challenges spanning multiple systems
  • Maintainability and knowledge-transfer needs, not just a one-off fix
  • Comfortable with 100% remote collaboration

Probably not a fit

  • Requires onsite attendance or a hybrid working arrangement
  • Needs a large delivery team or staff-augmentation at scale
  • Looking for a software agency or a managed service provider
  • Needs a full digital transformation programme rather than a scoped technical engagement
